July 4th Celebrations?

when will your area celebrate the 4th"

Saturday July 3rd

or

Sunday July 4th

or

Monday July 5th

town celebration here will be Saturday July 3rd, but since the banks and the post office will close, most of the businesses in town will close on Monday July 5th.

The big city north of here had its "Red, White, and Blue" festival last weekend with fireworks on Saturday night; that festival is always held the weekend before the 4th. Most of the small towns around here are having fireworks on the 3rd. Some businesses are closing on Monday the 5th.

Yeah, I saw a sign at the bank today...they will be closed on Monday. I know Government workers get Monday off (if the holiday falls on Sunday). If it falls on a Saturday, they get Friday off.

Hollister is having fireworks on the 4th. Here's Hollywood's thread with all of the Branson area fireworks:

Thank you! So, we will be able to see some fireworks, Sunday night!
From looking at that thread, I guess almost everyone is having fireworks on the 4'th (except the Landing). Since I'll be working Saturday night, that was not an option.
