SS Dockside restaurant

We stumbled on to this place Monday night as the first 2 restaurants we stopped at were closed on Mondays. My wife had a chicken quesidilla and I had catfish. The food was very good. Service was ok except I wish they would have worn masks. Our server didn't seem to be very aware of handwashing and being careful. He went outside, came back in, and never washed his hands. He then picked up slices of lemon with his bare hands and took to the table next us. Luckily we already had our food but made me wonder what else he may have done. The hostess was very nice and she was trying hard to help our waiter as he was having issues with his ordering pad. Tried it once and probably won't go back. Much better choices.

SS Dockside

Was the manager told about the waiter that did not wash his hands and was he asked why the waiters were not wearing masks. Maybe it was not mandated in Missouri that restaurants have their staff wear masks. In Minnesota it is mandated that all wear masks - if you are going to go into a store, no matter what the business is - you must wear a mask.

In Fact the Branson Mask Mandate was no longer in force as friday the 16th.

Therefore no mask would have been required in the restaraunt.

Silver Dollar City is not in the city limits of Branson so the Branson mask mandate being dropped didn't apply. SDC employees are still supposed to be wearing masks.

Here's the link to the play safe FAQs -- recently updated on April 12 for SDC:

https://www.silverdollarcity.com/PlaySafe/FAQ

SDC employees are supposed to wear masks at all times while on park property.

Biscuit you are correct,
but I am pretty sure the original poster was referring to the SS Dockside which is in Branson, Pretty sure it is located across the street west from Andy Williams Theatre..

I had forgotten about that place Dockside makes me think of SDC -- but I think that's the name of the theater not the new restaurant.

Sorry!
