Does Grand Country have a swimming pool, or just the indoor water park, and wading pool for kids?

We liked the indoor pool at the Lodge of the Ozarks. It is very large, had a pool table you can play there too.

stayed at grand country once before they built the indoor water park, yes they did have an indoor pool but it was small and crowded.

liked the ones at the two comfort inns we stayed at, Thousand hills and Inns and Suites, decent sized, big glass window areas around it, decking area outside, neither was ever very crowded either.

I agree, the pool area is very nice. There's a hot tub, too. And the big open doors keep it from being stuffy. One door leads to a side patio with umbrella tables and chairs by the fountain and the other door leads to the lounge chairs by the front of the strip. How cool is that? Lounging and watching the cars go sloooowly by. Thanks to the decorative landscaping, they don't get too close a view of you.

grand country is kewl

I liked the grand country inn in the wintertime, I think many wouldnt think to go swimming in Nov or Dec so it makes it a bit nicer. I wouldnt stay at the hotel though. Its too small for what they charge, although they do have much to do there. But you can do all that even without being in the hotel.

As of a couple of years ago, Grand Country has a separate building with a regular pool in it. We spent some time at the water park, but there was nowhere there to really just swim, so we spent the rest of the trip in their regular pool building. It's an outdoor walk between the two.

I cast my vote for Mountain Music Inn. Clarion at the Palace also has a nice indoor pool, but not as large as MM.
