Long, sad story there. But no, he has not come out of his coma. There have been some improvements, but still in a coma.

Very appropriate! My friend who worked as his assistant for many years has been posting old videos of him on FB as well. He really has brought a lot of joy in to a lot of peoples' lives over the years. Even if it was just to help them forget their cares for a couple of hours, or to recall their love of Elvis and his music.
