Route 66 thru Missouri

Has anyone ever drove the Route 66 through Missouri? If so any thoughts? Places to see?

Cuba has tons of historical murals on their buildings https://cubamomurals.com/

In Carthage, you can visit Red Oak II - a little town created by artist, Lowell Davis.

I grew up on Route 66, have driven most of it if not all of it across Missouri.

There are a couple of historical gas stations/museums, one in Lebanon and another in Ash Grove.

The Springfield history museum in downtown Springfield is worth a stop too.

Lots of pretty scenery along the way!
