Because of work being done at some outlets at Branson Landing, the normal level of Lake Taneycomo is scheduled to be lowered starting Monday, May 21, and remain so until at least the Wednesday, May 23. This could impact on the use of public boat ramps and safety, especially in the upper end of the lake, at and above Short Creek.
Caution is advised. Rocks, trees, gravel bars and other obstructions that do not normally pose a hazard may do so during this lower water.
