The Branson is an area blessed with talent and it’s not all musical talent. The Tri-Lakes Community Theatre will be presenting Arthur Millers, classic drama tragedy, “The Crucible” at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theatre.
Written in 1952, the play is based on the events involved with the 1692 witch trials in the puritan town of Salem. With the full range of emotions it portrays, its plot, historical base, and the range of topics it covers, everything from infidelity to revenge, and murder the play is considered one of the best of the “modern era.”
Performances will be on Feb. 16-18 and again on Feb. 23-25. The Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7 p.m. and the Sunday performances at 2 p.m. Tickets are $14 for adults and $7 for students.
