We will be in Branson in about 3 weeks. Can someone explain the masking mandate? Are you required to wear them into shows, attractions, restaurants? We just want to know what the rules are before getting there. Thanks in advance for the info

Smile Masking

You better plan on wearing them to all shows , restaurants all stores etc. The only time you get to remove them is when you are eating or drinking. This is my understanding of the rule. If I am wrong I would appreciate it if someone would correct me. There are some exceptions if you can prove that a health condition would prevent you from wearing a mask. Good luck and have fun in Branson. I guess you could take them off while in the car and in your motel room. I should have put that in here when I first wrote this

if I remember right it is for 13 and over, if 12 and under don't have to wear one.

if outdoors and can maintain a distance of 6 feet don't have to wear it, but any public place you do.

if you have a medical condition documented by a doctor you are exempt

while swimming you don't have to

as stated above you don't have to while eating and drinking

basically any other time pretty much need one on.

At the Landing last night outside the stores it was a mix of masks and no masks, but inside the stores everyone we saw had masks.
At VF outlet today as you enter the store there is an employee having you use hand sanitizer and telling you to keep you mask over your mouth and nose the entire time you are in the store. Also, their restrooms are closed.
At the restaurants we’ve been to, masks are required when you are moving around the restaurant. All servers have been wearing masks except one and she had a tag saying she couldn’t for medical reasons.

4 more days,
I certainly hope the Aldermen dont renew the mandate..
Need to get the town open, and get people spending money..
otherwise it could be a long cold winter for some. (unless the government bales them out again)..
Just another Day..
