Bass Pro Springfield

Happy to read that yesterday the Bass Pro Shops in Springfield finally re-opened...but nowhere did the article talk about the Landing's Bass Pro...and its website still says its closed. So...is this a "Branson" ordinance that is preventing it being opened? Or a county ordinance? Or just a private business decision by Johnny Morris?

Johnny Morris has more money than God. He can do whatever he wants.

What has the amount of money that Morris has have any bearing to the question I posed? Seem to be a lot of money haters on this board....I for one am THRILLED that Mr Morris has TONS of money.

Because I get to ENJOY his money, in many ways....by strolling into a Bass Pro store in most states I travel in....by buying a new lure, or gun, or kayak, or fishing reel, or article of clothing, for myself or as a gift to someone. And it took his “more money than God” to stock all those things in ALL his stores, across this wonderful CAPITALIST country we live in.

I get to enjoy HIS money, by driving into Big Cedar, or my favorite, Top of the Rock whenever i wish...to observe the stunning beauty of this property that MR Morris PURCHASED with his “More money than God” bank account and stellar credit. I can walk into HIS RESTAURANT on any of his PRIVATE PROPERTY, and enjoy the benefits of HIS MONEY, by having a wonderful meal that, in times past, only the wealthiest of royalty could have partaken in.

I can enough HIS MONEY by entering Dogwood Canyon, and seeing some of the most beautiful nature imaginable. I can take a fun tram ride, and touch elk...watch buffalo...i can fish for trout if I wish in one of the most beautiful trout streams anywhere. I can eat at one of the most picturesque restaurants that sit on water, hypnotized by a magnificent waterfall.

Yes, I can enjoy Johnny Morris’s “more money than God” in so many places. And I am so thankful that he has been blessed by being able to aquire all “that” money, and SHARE IT WITH ME, and thousands more, via is property purchases and business endeavors.

Funny, thing, but I cant enjoy any POOR persons money to this extent...because they DONT HAVE ANY MONEY to buy, build, and create wonderful places! It takes “more money than God” to be successful in a spectacular way, as Mr Morris has, in this world. And I am so thankful that I am also able to share in the joy of his “more money than God”. And I hope that he, and hence I, and able to do this for many more years.

As an employee of Mr. Morris’s Big Cedar Lodge, I have personally benefited from his money during my furlough. Mr. Morris has a lot of money, good business sense, and a big ol’ soft heart.

I also appreciate those who choose to spend time and money in any of his establishments!

Didn't the city of Branson vote the other day to return to state wide Rona rules? Thought I read something about an opening date for the Landing. Probably everything willnopen then. I know Joe Smith at Silver Anvil Metal Craft at the Landing said yesterday that he was open.
