Cool Guy Fieri restaurant to open on the Landing in 2020

FACE Hospitality Announces Branson Partnership with Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri, “Mayor of Flavor Town”

On the heels of a recently announced partnership with Guy Fieri and Robert Earl to open four Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy! restaurants in Tennessee, FACE Hospitality, subsidiary of FACE Amusement Group, has partnered with the famed chef restaurateur, author and Emmy Award-winning television personality to open Guy Fieri’s Branson Kitchen + Bar in Branson, Missouri. Scheduled to open Summer 2020, the nearly 8,000-square-foot Kitchen + Bar will be located in the expansive Branson Landing waterfront entertainment complex, where FACE currently operates its popular Mirror Maize, 7D Dark Ride Adventure and Arcade City attractions.

If you get a chance to check it out, I think it’s behind a pay wall, but a couple years ago the New York Times critic gave Fieri’s Times Square restaurant one of the worst reviews in the history of food. That location has since gone out of business.

Just add another 15-20k sq ft. to the outbuildings on the North end. There's too much wasted space along the lake there anyway.

Might be going in where Buffalo Wild Wings was located. Just a guess.

with an 8,000 sq ft kitchen, then the dining area, bar and other nonsense, it will take several existing buildings!!

Just what the landing needs another eating joint, But they are obviously after the tourist crowd.

Hope they dont build a new facility, Branson has plenty of empty buildings that would work for this venture..

"kitchen" is part of the name, not just where they cook the food. Like Paula Dean's Family Kitchen

B Dubs restaurants run in the 7,000+ sq ft area, so that is certainly a possibility.

I'm tempted to whisper the words "overbuilt" but that would be silly.

Yes it would. With 45 minutes to 1 hour+ waits for a table at most restaurants on the landing, underbuilt is more like it.
The changing Branson. Like it or not, Branson shows, struggling. Branson attractions, and restaurants doing quite well.

I guess that's all we need to know.

Thats makes WAAAAY more sense, thanks... Although I for one will never see the inside of it.

I have a very rare desease call "TheLandingItis"., with the only known cure is too see more shows in Branson, and to eat at only Locally owned restaraunts... It is a hard thing to deal with, But I get along fine..

Local places are my first choice most often. But I don mind chains, or franchise restaurants that don't have a restaurant in my home area.
On the Landing that would be most of them.

From looking at the Vegas one, the interior appears that it would fit in very nicely to the former BWW place. The menu looks very interesting, will be bringing to Branson some food items/combo's/creations that can't be found anywhere around here. Besides the basic food items, the 7-Layer Jack Daniels Chocolate Cake sounds very good! So, yea, I'm for giving it a fair trial, at least 2 or 3 times! BTW, IMO, I could care less about any review the snobbish NYT gives any restaurant, book, movie, hotel, or even political candidate, for that matter.
