Was going to give it a try, but my daughter told us the line was out the door Saturday. Didn't bother checking later.
Will give it a try in October.

Someone reported on the SDC Fans board that the bill for 2 people was $67 -- that included a $9 tip, drinks are $3.50, no to go boxes or cups.

I am hearing good food,
No doggie bags,
very pricey, average is about 30-35 per person including the 3.50 drink..

Keep in mind, even at lunch, those prices include not one but TWO - or even THREE - entrees, as well as 4 side dishes AND dessert. So given all of that, I don't think the pricing is that outrageous at all.

As for the no to go boxes, that is pretty typical when your meal, or any part of it, is all you can eat. I know places such as Rib Crib when they have their all you can eat ribs, you don't get to take food home.

Lunch
$19.99 with two meat choices, and four sides
20.99 with three meat choices, and four sides
Dinner
21.99 with two meat choices, and four sides
22.99 with three meat sides
All include a desert for everybody.
Didn't see tea, or soda prices.
What probably brings it up to the $30-$35 is Branson taxes!
To me, it's about right for Beanson, and what you get.
Nothing other than garbage national chains are cheap in Branson. But quality, and quantity are most often high.

Lunch

This is just my opinion. We are there Friday. Had about a 20minute wait for a table. My DIL chose fried chicken, which was very good. My son and I had "crispy" fried catfish. It was about as crispy as a wet noodle! Couldn't compare to Browns Catfish in Russellville. Fried okra was an appetizer instead of a side! It was ok, but not as crispy as I like it. Dessert was very good. Family Kitchen is different, to say the least. Kids liked it, so we may eat there next trip.

Don't see "crispy" fried catfish on the menu. I do see "Georgia" fried catfish.
From the menu:
"We love our fish lightly fried with a flour and cornmeal coating"
Doesn't sound like it's suposed to be all that "crispy".

There were 3 of us. No clue what it cost. They wouldn't let me pay for anything!
Sorry, I thought it said crispy. Maybe that was just my expectation. Breading almost non-existent.

Are you able to order from the menu there. I have eaten at Lady & Sons in Savannah. At that restaurant, you have the option of ordering from the menu or the all you can eat.
