Samson Reviews?

anyone seen Samson? Opinions? How do you rate it with some of the other shows they've put on?

think if everything works out we are going to make a quick long weekend Branson trip this week, seen every show at Sight and Sound but Samson feel like should go see it before it ends but for some reason watching the ads on tv and the preview on their site this show just haven't gotten that excited about going. is it better than advertised?

I have seen it. Hey thoroughly enjoyed it. Not my favorite production there. I think Jonah is still my favorite. But this one comes pretty close!

It is a high quality production, though not my favorite, but when the buildings come tumbling down I'm sure you will be impressed.

Samson is a good show. My favorite is still Noah.
I was so disappointed to not see a new production this year. This is the first time, that I've noticed, for a production to be carried over to the next year. Last year's PA production was Jesus and I was so looking forward to seeing it this year in Branson. However, they don't ask my opinion.

There!! I've now satisfied the nagging to post!

Actually, I asked someone about why Jesus was not coming to Branson next year. It was explained to me that they have to do some re-engineering of the stage before they can bring Jesus here. But that production will come here eventually.

Did I hear right that this is the last year for Samson? Any word on what next year's production will be?

Yes, this is the final year for Samson. The 2020 production will be Noah.

This upcoming trip to Branson (in a couple weeks) will be my last opportunity to see Samson. I’ve seen all of them, and I think my favorite still is Noah.

not only is this the last year for Samson but according to the web site it ends in late Oct and The Miracle Of Christmas takes over in November.

I too am looking forward to the Jesus production coming to Branson, I've watched the trailer for the one back east and it looks like it should be really good.

I would have a hard time saying what my favorite was so far... I really liked the Miracle of Christmas the first time, the second time we saw it not as much but it was still good... Noah, Jonah and Joseph were all good, Noah probably made the best use of the giant stage of all the shows... Moses was ok but for me it was a little below the others.

I saw it last week. Very good show just as all the productions there have been.

I thought less animals maybe in this one.

love the ending and effects.

Set and costumes are great.

Wonderful performances.

My girls never got to see Noah so I look forward to taking them next summer.
