Dining reviews

We were not very adventuresome in our dining choices this trip. Fudruckers: great burger and fries, Cracker Barrel: not a better breakfast in town, the Big Chicken place lunch soup and salad bar mediocre at best, Freddys: Another great burger and fries. Ice cream at Baskin Robbins very good and Hurts Donuts was a great experience. Go try it out

Thank you for your reviews. i would like to recommend Billy Gail's, The Hungry Hunter and The Farmhouse. Those are my 3 faves in order for breakfast. My favorite pizza is Rocco's and Gettin Basted is my favorite Barbecue. Branson has added a lot of new restaurants that are very good too! Try them out your next trip!

Those are excellent suggestions. The best three places in Branson for breakfast.
They certainly beat every other place by a long shot!

I agree! Hungry Hunter was a hidden gem! I wish Billy Gail's had better parking. Hard to find a good spot unless you are there when they open.

We have ate breakfast at Billy Gail's a few times. It was very good but nothing special lMO, as the only thing that really stood out to me was the large portions served. The quality of the food did not stand out to me as better than most other restaurants that I have eaten breakfast at. We still prefer Cracker Barrel.

I am one of the odd ones on here who will agree with you. It's especially not worth the hassle of finding a non-existent parking space and then the wait. Large portions? Heck yes. Big pancakes? Yes, but not all that tasty. Actually, their pancakes are rather flat and tasteless. I came across some in Louisiana which are just as big around but also thick, fluffy, and taste great!

Just always find the home cooked food at places like Billy Gail's, Farmhpuse, and Hungry Hunter is always much better than any mass produced large chain.

Will agree with you. It's a unique place but other than that I don't believe the wait is worth it.

My sentiment exactly, Billy Gail's has a unique atmosphere, but the food is so so.
