Ozark, MO

Most Branson Visitors know that Lambert's (Home of the Throwed Rolls) is in Ozark, but there are some other things to see and do while you are there.

One place to spend some time is:
Camp Flea
1900 W Elm St
Ozark, MO 65721

(417) 581-2575

Do you have a favorite place to eat, shop or sightsee in Ozark?

Always look forward to a good cup of coffee at Casey's (65/14) when on the way home from somewhere north. The antique/flea shops behind Casey's have been known to be interesting.
When on the annual plants/bushes/trees hunt, we usually stop at the Ozark Lowes. More than a couple of times we have found stuff/deals there that were not at other Lowes. Of course from there you can hop down to Nixa Hardware for still more.

I like Casey's, too, although I preferred Quiktrip. Nice soda fountain, mediocre tenderloin (pork fritter to them), and good gas stop before Branson.

I sometimes wind up with cashew chicken from Hong Kong Inn and a soda from Casey's.

DW is also fond of the discounted plants at Lowe's garden centers.

At the next exit, the Dollar Tree is a nicer one, with more food items than most, there's a Little Ceasar's for Pizza Pizza, and a Murphy Gas.

I too sniffled a bit when Quick Trip departed mainly because they served "top tier" gas.

Everything I've ever seen proclaims Dollar Tree as the best of the dollar store bunch.

I have been noticing the productions of the Stained Glass Theatre and thinking of attending on one of our trips. Anyone been? How are they?

We have been in the past and they were always fun. Smaller theatre than what you may be used to in Branson. Great message, and inspiring.

I haven't checked it out but have been told that Smallin Civil War Cave is worth a stop.

Hook and Ladder Pizza is very good, in a strip center near Walgreens. Hook and Ladder is also in Hollister.

Have also heard good things about Rosie Jo's restaurant in the Collins Point Center. Used to be in an old shopping center with some antique shops but moved when the shopping center was sold and then torn town.

We went to Rosie Jo's in the new location last year. Great food!
