Local Honey

Does anyone know where to buy some?

I can't remember where I've seen it!

My allergies are so bad & I am desperate.

Thanks!

Actually if you head south on 65 then east towards Omaha Arkansas there is a place that sells local honey. I don't remember the name but it's a big place. Can't miss it. In the fall they have tons of good stuff.

There is a shop on Hill Street just off the square at Silver Dollar City called "Honey Heaven" that sells locally produced honey.

You might try searching through Missouri's state bee keepers organization:

http://mostatebeekeepers.org/

especially trying the local organizations:

Nope. East of that a few miles. The place sells produce, pretty big bldg. Sign out front. They sell all sorts of jams and stuff. I'm assuming it's still there. About 6 months ago it was. Really cool place. Just head east from 65 towards Omaha (Arkansas). I wish I remembered the name of the place to locate a phone #

It is probably Roberson Orchard on old HWY 65?? between Harrison & Branson. We've bought apples, honey, pecans and other goodies there.

Not very far past Wild Bills.

Sorry to say it, but... I think the pollen is so bad, you could drink a cup of local honey a day, and you'd still have problems. Honest! We just got back from camping. One morning, I was sitting at the picnic table with my iPad. About 30-minutes later, I could write my name with my finger, on the iPad screen... it was covered with green pollen. On Monday, we washed DH's truck. On Tuesday, I wrote "Just washed yesterday" with my finger, on the window of his truck. LOL I looked at the "Zyrtec Pollen Count" app on my iPhone and on a scale of 1-12 it was 11.8. I had to wipe the pollen off the screen, to see the pollen count. Just sayin'.

I hear ya Melanie!
Just wishful thinking that Something would help.
I have washed my car every other day. My eyes are watering so bad, I cannot wear my contacts. If I go outside at all, when I come in I'm coughing, my glands in my neck swell & it's just misery.

The longer I live here, the worse my allergies seem to get. I take Loratadine everyday, all year round per my doctor.

Going out to do a raindance!

You may want to check with the Amish store on Gretna. I personally know one of the owners and he has numerous hives around the Branson area.
