Locals Discount

We moved to Harrison last year and often visit Branson. I've seen Branson show flyers at work a few times offering Boone Co, AR residents local discount tickets. Do a lot of the shows offer local discounts and they consider Harrison local? Thanks in advance.

Hi ArkTraveler! We also moved to Harrison this year from the central Arkansas area. From what I can tell, some of the shows offer discounts to Boone county residents, and some of them don't. I know that Dixie Stampede does not offer any area appreciation discounts to Boone county residents while Sight and Sound Theatre does. I think it just depends on the individual theater. It would be great if all of them did since Harrison is so close to Branson. We too visit Branson often - usually several times a month. I try to keep up with the Area Appreciation shows here on the forum when they are posted. It is so nice to have the 1Branson forum for all the latest information. Hope you're enjoying living here as much as I am!

GG is correct.

Each show or attraction has it's own policy.

The best way to qualify is to have a paycheck stub from a show or attraction. That trumps where you live.

Really? I didn't realize that - my paystub is from a county frequently included, while I live in a county frequently excluded. I need to pay closer attention!

I think I'll go back to sleep.

Yeah, just post before you wake up.
