2 ingredient fudge recipe

This is so easy and the flavor combinations are endless! Technically, it's not really 2 ingredients.

Easy Fudge
1 (12-ounce) package of baking chips (can use 10 oz pkg)
1 (16-ounce) tub of prepared frosting
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon extract of your choice
3/4 cup nuts of your choice (optional)

1. Lightly butter an 8 x 8-inch baking pan or a 9-inch diameter pan. Set aside.
2. Melt the baking chips in the microwave in a medium bowl.
3. Stir in the frosting, salt, extract, and nuts until well combined.
4. Scrape into the prepared pan and refrigerate for at least 1/2 hour or until firm. Cut it into squares to serve.

I always microwave the frosting for about 30 seconds after I add it in, it makes it softer and everything mixes better.

I've made:

choc chips/coconut pecan frosting = German Chocolate Fudge
white chips, vanilla frosting, orange extract, color half orange and swirl with white for Orange Cream Fudge
white chips, white frosting + walnuts + maple flavor for maple walnut fudge
chocolate frosting, mint chips = mint chocolate fudge

I found some cherry chips last weekend and want to use cream cheese frosting for a cherry cheesecake fudge.

Also plan on making some cookies & cream with cream cheese frosting and white chips.

I've also used almond bark successfully, it's a little cheaper than bags of chips.

I bet the amish store would have a good variety of flavored chips.

yesterday, I made the cherry cheesecake, it's really good! Also, I made cookies and cream and used cinnamon chips and vanilla frosting for a cinnamon roll flavored fudge.

I have a friend who used to always have me go to the 76 mall and pick up some cookies and cream fudge for her, so I plan on taking some of this batch to her this week.

Using this recipe for Valentines Day

Strawberry 2 Ingredient Fudge

January 19, 2012

Spread it into a lightly greased or lined pan…

Make some pretty designs if you’re feeling fancy.

* Tip ~ use a cookie cutter for easier shape making.

Isn’t it pretty?

Strawberry 2 Ingredient Fudge

Ingredients

1 (16 oz) can of strawberry frosting
1 12 oz bag of white chocolate chips

How to Make

Prepare a 9x9 pan by spray lightly with cooking spray.
