Has anyone tried the Chinese/Mexican place in Branson yet?
The old "Lotus Valley"?

I went past the new "Chinese Mexican Burrito" last night in Forsyth. I noticed that they had opened and they were packed. I am going to give them a few days to get their things in order before I try their food. If anyone has tried them, can you share what is on their menu with us?

They weren't open yesterday afternoon, so it must have been their first night. I like the signage though! (It's a Chinaman carrying a rickshaw with a burrito in the seat....cute!)

Maybe I will stop in there tonight on my way to work and see how it is.

Yes, according to their sign they are open. Haven't been yet so don't if they're a buffet or not.

Went there today. It's not a buffet. It is a sit down order at the table from a menu. The menu lists both Chinese and Mexican items. You get free chips and salsa (which was good). Most items are in the $8-$10 range. There is a lunch menu with prices in the $6-$8 range.

Overall it was ok. I preferred the old Lotus Valley. I probably won't go back.

My family and I tried the Chinese Mexican Burrito in Forsyth. The food was actually pretty good. Three of us had the chinese food and my daughter had cheeseburger and fries. My son had cashew chicken, I had moo goo gai pan and my husband had the kung pao chicken. Our food was hot and fresh and enjoyed.
As for the service, it was Very slow. It took us 25 mintues to get our egg drop soup and egg rolls. Then it rook another 10 for them to bring our son and daughter's food then my husband and I had to wait another 7 before we got our food. But, the owner did apologize and took a small percent off of our bill.
Overall, the food was good. The service was rough, but they have only been open 3 days, so it is understandable.
Would I go back?...Yes I would.
