Suggestions for 4 year olds?

I need ideas for shows, attractions, and restaurants that a 4 year old would enjoy. I will be in Branson March 18-21.

Silver Dollar City opens March 18th so, I would think that would be a must. Lots to see and lots of area for those little legs to run.

Would enjoy Haygoods, Presleys, Clay Cooper and Red, Hot and Blue as they are shows that are very lively.

Have many restaurants in town that have kids menus.

I would suggest Silver Dollar City this family fun park is for all ages. Check out Silver Dollar City's website www.silverdollarcity.com and Ride the Ducks that is fun for all kids of all ages. Again Have fun in Branson.

I'm thinking that the numerous Putt-Putt courses will be back open by then too. They are always a lot of fun - even for the little ones.

Show Gal had a lot of great suggestions on shows - all good. Another great place to go (and FREE) would be the fish hatchery at Tablerock Dam. Little ones LOVE to see the fish, and you can buy food to feed them also.

A trip to the TRACKS around town would be fun also. There are about 4 of them, and they have a lot of activities that little ones enjoy.

Take him to the LANDING and let him "Build a Car" at the place across from "Build a Bear". See the fountain show while you're there! Ride the trolley car. Walk down by the lake.

Another great show for little ones is Peter Pan! Cathy Rigby is wonderful in that show! Everyone needs to see it!

We've taken my grands, now 4 & 6, to numerous shows over the past 6 years, and they've never failed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. We make sure they are well rested, and fed before we go. They love the music, the costumes, the dancing.

They are begging to return to the Branson Belle - but we're waiting for warm weather, because part of what they enjoyed was being out on top of the boat, and watching the other boats.

I'd say most any of the shows in Branson move fast enough to entertain a typical 4yo, so long as they aren't hungry or tired to begin with.

Have a blast!

Two words: Grand Country.

Indoor waterpark, arcade, pizza buffet, breakfast buffet. Paradise for a kid.

"Rock-U-Mentally" at Legend's Theater will be having special performances that week-end (10: a.m.). If your child in into 'visual' programming on television, he/she will definitely like this show. Plus, it's relatively inexpensive. You can check out video-clips of this one at: Rock-U-Mentally.com. I'm planning on taking my 4 grandkids there on the same week-end. (Hey, it's spring-break time for schools in Oklahoma!) Hope to see you there!

I will be taking my 5 yr old twins to Grand Country water park as well and enjoying the indoor activities. Thanks for the tip on the show, we will have to check that one out.

Good advice going on here.

Can you give more info about the "build a car" or a website? Thanks!

I've been checking it out also, thinking of taking our little guy when we are there in May. The name of the store is Ridemakerz. http://www.ridemakerz.com/rz/pages/a...orkShopID=1510

I also found a printable $10 off $30 coupon on the Ridemakerz facebook page.

Ridemakrz - that's the name! Couldn't remember what it was called.

My grown son, and a friend of ours have both made cars there. You basically pic the type car you want (they have many, many body styles to choose from), and then the attendents will help you choose wheels, and other accessories. Then, they have a workbench with tools, etc., where you build the car. The attendents will instruct you. You have the choice to just make a "model" car, or you can make a motorized one. I think even if you make a model, you could bring it back later and update it to a motorized one. Our friend spent about $50 making his model car. I think my son spent about the same making one that looked like his own black mustang.

Its a very cool store! Little boys - AND their DAD's love the place!

Also, the Ducks, Dixie Stampede, and Kirby VanBirch. My daughter also loved Waltzing Waters at that age, but I don't know how the new show is.
