What a great ambassador for Branson!!

The winter dance party is on again in Clear Lake, Iowa, commemorating the deaths of Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Richie Valens and the pilot. (The crash site is about 16 miles east and a little south of my house.)

Bill Medley and his daughter are about as good advertising for Branson as we can ask for.

That was such a tragic accident. Saw the movies about their lives many times.

Yes! Prices have gotten way too high, imo..... & if you buy just a general admission, you will stand a-l-l night long....The Surf keeps selling general admission tickets, all night long, every night, as long as people come through the door. The place will be absolutely packed......

Very little seating available to begin with, @ The Surf, & it is all reserved almost a year in advance, by repeat customers, who are willing to pay over & above posted ticket prices.... You HAVE to reserve a booth, @ $60 +, each night, if you want to sit.

The dance floor will be packed with people just standing around; no room to dance....

Also, Marvelous Marvin Short & Darrell Croy( Jerry Lee Lewis), both of the "Top10 Rock & Roll Revue Show" will be performing. Another top-notch representation of Branson talent!
