My fiance' and I are planning on enjoying our honeymoon in Branson. We are staying in a condo about 15 minutes west of Branson. I would love some input from the pro's on fun things to do on our honeymoon for a couple in their twenties. We enjoy golf, sightseeing, shopping and other young couple things. I appreciate all/any advice you guys have! Thanks

Congratulations! There is a search function on here so you can read and read and read. You didn't say when you are getting married, but there are many. many golf courses in Branson. Branson Landing has shopping, restaurants, sights to see, Silver Dollar CIty is an old fashioned amusement park enjoyed by many. I have been coming to Branson since I was in my 20's and I love the shows! I believe there is something for everyone. Share your musical tastes and you'll get lots of opinions!

Depending on when you are planning to be in Branson, you may be able to do lots of things outdoors, or NOT. My kids are in their 20's and have spent many days/nights in Branson for many years. Congrats on the engagement! |

We will be arriving in Branson the last week of May. We aren't huge "show" people but we want to try a couple out because everyone says how entertaining they are. I'd love to find a few things other than shopping that my fiance' would enjoy. I know she will love the mall and enjoy golfing with me, but I think she would be happy with whatever we do. So I'm really looking for something that is especially fun for her.

If you want to pamper your wife and you have the money to do so, treat her to a day (or half day) at the spa at Chateau on the Lake.

I think you might enjoy riding the Ducks. It's a lot of fun, and we really enjoy it. There are two tours, one on the 76 strip that goes to Table Rock Lake and one at the Branson Landing. We like the Landing one better.
www.bransonducks.com Another idea would be a free tour of Stone Hill Winery. There is a wine tasting at the end of the tour, so you can test out the wines before you buy them. http://www.stonehillwinery.com/locat...n/default.aspx If you like museums there are several to choose from. We've been to the Hollywood Wax, Ripley's Believe It or Not, World's Largest Toy and the Titanic Museum. Of the ones we've been to we liked the Titanic the best. www.titanicbranson.com We love to play mini golf in Branson. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure and Dinosaur Canyon are our favorites. Silver Dollar City is a must. The Bluegrass & BBQ festival will be going on then, and it is just great! www.silverdollarcity.com If you are interested in the history of Branson check out the Shepherd of the Hills homestead and play. It is how Branson got started! www.oldmatt.com Hope this helps! Let us know if you need any other suggestions! ![]()

Only thing I would like to mention is to remember the Landing for some shopping and the fountains. Is a great place to stroll along and enjoy each other.

A really romantic thing to do if the weather is warm would be to pack a picnic in a backpack and rent bikes at Dogwood Canyon Park. It is a gorgeous, easy ride with a marked trail. There are gorgeous waterfalls and trout streams and just beautiful scenery. There are very few people around.

You might also want to drive up to Springfield one day and take in the BIG Bass Pro Shoppe there. We like the one at the Landing as well, but the one in Springfield is the original one and is REALLY big with all KINDS of stuff to look at. They were remodelling/ adding on last summer when we were there, so I don't know if that's complete or not...DH and I are "outdoorsy" type people, and we spent a day there on our honeymoon 10 years ago

Hi Newlyweds521!
You're not getting married May 21 are you? My husband and I got married on May 21st five years ago and spent our honeymoon in Branson also. Just thought that was neat. We were also in our 20s, and we had a ton of fun. The thing we enjoyed the most was when we rented a boat for a couple of hours and cruised Table Rock. It was cloudy and overcast, but warm enough, and we loved it! Try it if the weather is nice. |

You may want to consider taking a day and going down to Eureka Springs. That is where my wife and I spent our honeymoon.
