I thought I read on one of the post that Country Tonite was not going to be in Branson in 2010. I check the schedule for Oak Boys Theatre and they are scheduled their with guest performers again.

On August 21, 2009, Ole Seagull reported Country Tonite would not be back in 2010 and the report came directly from them.

Since Ol Seagull knows what goes on in Branson, is it possible you are looking at a schedule for last year that is still on the internet.

The reason I ask that, many times I have seen a schedule for a show under the current year, only to find out that one of the ticket agents have not removed their last years schedules. That is one of the problems with the internet, some items are dated at the bottom and some aren't.

I have had that happen to me more than a few times and it really messes up your schedule. Would be nice if the old schedules are removed at the end of the season.

I am not saying that is what has happened in this case, I just know it has happened in the past. I would bet before the day is over, we will have an uipdate on this.

Actually, new billboards have gone up advertising Country Tonite with Marty Haggard (Merle's son). Don't know what to think about that.

Well, that makes it pretty certain. Must have come up with an agreement with the Oaks. Personally, I am glad as I thought County Tonite, with a guest artist, was a great idea.

If he is going to be there April to December, it sounds as if they will not be having guest artists from time to time, unless they are making them part of the Country Tonite section of the show.

You know, if all these owners and performers would just post on our board, it would mean setting up schedules easier------but, maybe not as interesting. Is fun working with other board members trying to figure these things out and then see how close we come to the truth of what is actually happening.
