Sting Ray Anthony at the Branson 76 Mall Center Stage
A Branson Board Buddy invited me to see Sting Ray Anthony with her, her husband and another couple (also Board Buddies) tonight. Because of recent problems in connection with the boards I will leave it to them if they want to identify themselves.
The show was terrific. I just can't believe the amount of talent in Branson. When you have people as good as Sting Ray playing for tips and CD sales it is pretty incredible. I really recommend his show... stop by if you have a chance. You can't do better than free entertainment. I had such a good time tonight and really appreciate the kind invitation from the Board Buddies.  -Jerry

We enjoyed the show also but really enjoyed having a chance to meet you and spend some fun time together! Sting Ray Anthony is really talented and we love seeing him perform...it is amazing the level of talent that can be found in Branson. I agree with Jerry, stop in to see Sting Ray's show if you get a chance! |

The Branson Mall gives some entertainers a chance to be seen in Branson.
Some of them may be working their way up while others, have been in Branson for a while but just don't have a theater for their show. Either way this gives them exposure so maybe a theater owner will see their show. Seems like they have been having some pretty good shows. Hope the tips and sales are good enough to keep the performers. Glad you all had a good time.

I, too, enjoy Ray. I have seen him around town at the mall, 50's at the Hop, Club 57 and other venues.
I have seen him several times in the Winter Dance Party. In my opinion, he makes that show. Saw him in September in Clovis, NM and in October at the Popejoy in Albuquerque. That was an excellent venue. The acoustics were wonderful. He had the audience on its feet dancing. He knows how to work a crowd. |

The Winter Dance Party will be at Terrible's Lakeside Casino south of Des Moines on I-35 on Nov 6th and 7th. Shows at 7:30 and 9:30. We have tickets for Saturday night, still trying to convince DH we should go Friday too! web site www.terribleslakeside.com

We have seen the show a few times in the last 2 or 3 years. It stays pretty much the same, John Mueller does a great job on the Holly songs, the first time we saw the show we were amazed. Sting Ray gets the house on it's feet and rockin' that guy is an awsome performer. And Jay Richardson not only looks like his daddy, but he sounds like him.
It's a 500 mile round trip for us to see the show this coming weekend, that's how much we love this show. They are also going to be at both the Diamond Jo casino's in January. See the full schedule at www.yourbuddyjohn.com Will post an update if they change anything in the show. |
