REVIEW: The Paul Harris Show

Saw this show Friday night. Always one of our favorites and tonight's show lived up to our expectations! We had seen the show on one of our first trips to Branson (this year) and some changes had been made in the playlist so it was a bit different than the show we had last seen. Very good crowd ---- probably the biggest crowd we've seen at a show this trip. Paul gets a 10 + Another Branson Buddy was at this show ----- KJN and her hubby ----and I got to chat with her for a few minutes before the show.

I saw the show last Friday night! When you can make people laugh by standing on stage staring and holding mustard before the show even begins, what will we do when we find out that "Momma died in a vat of miracle whip"? Cleverly Trio forever!!

The words "shabby" and "Matt Gumm" don't belong in the same sentence! Matt gets funnier every time we see him. Funny, plus he's an awesome musician, both vocally and instrumentally!

Have you seen him since he left his own theater? If not, the show that he does now at CC's theater is very different from the one he did when he had the theater.

"Ain't too shabby"...AKA Matt Gumm announced his engagement at Paul's show. I believe he has a January wedding planned. Paul said Matt is "marrying up, just like Paul did!"

In my opinion, Paul is one of the best comedians in Branson. He has a delivery that really breaks you up.

I hate to say this BUT we were at Jul 3 Fri night show too. I had mixed feelings about this. Most of it was very funny and musically great. Cleverly Trio (blind guy, comic genius to put him in) was hilarious for the first two or three songs and then I would rather have heard Paul just give some more "impressions" or his observations of life in general. The last time I saw him was at the Caravelle and OMGosh I could have used a Depends and a box of Kleenex. His comic timing is still unmatched. First half of this show hilarious and songs were great. Just my opinion (please don't crucify me for this) and I am a true Paul Harris fan. I tried to see him at the White River Hoedown in Mtn View, had tickets-very hard to get, hubby got sick and was so excited that he had show again in Branson and I could see him then. I guess I was just a little disappointed that's all.
