Thumbs up Seeking Good Dining on The Strip?

Where are some good places to eat on the Strip, right before a show? Is the Moon River Grill good? Landry's? Others?

Any other suggestions? All of our favorite restaurants are away from the Strip, so we're trying to add a couple between Silver Dollar City and say ... Presley's.

It's been a while since we ate there but we use to stop at the Plantation at least once or twice a year. And for a quick burger(or chicken) and fries, the Uptown Cafe is really good and has great prices. Pizza World is pretty good food too but the service is kind of slow. That's why we stick to their buffet. We liked Montana Mikes when we ate there last November. .

Most of the places I can think of on the strip or nearby are chains restaurants. -

Luigi's Pizza (next door to the Dutton Theater)
RedLobster
Olive Garden
Cracker Barrel
Ruby Tuesday
Billy Bob's Dairyland
Outback
McFarlands
Micky Gilley's
or the all you can eat buffets at Golden Corral and Grand Country,

I'm thinking the Plantation is owned by the same folks who own Peppercorns and Baldknobbers.

Awesome salad bar at Ruby Tuesday's!! We tend to frequent the Branson hometown places, however, there's not a Ruby Tuesday in our hometown so we enjoy that while we're there. For a cool break, we always go to TCBY by Wal-Mart. The white chocolate mousse is so good. I guess we're the only ones on the forum that go there cause nobody ever mentions TCBY!

That's not the keyboard causing havoc, the question was about your Favorite places to eat - and you got it RIGHT!
