REVIEW: #1 Hits of the 60's

We chose the #1 Hits of the 60's because they do a tribute to Veterans. It was my husband's 40-year reunion with his Recon buddies from Vietnam. The show was EXCELLENT. You could tell the singers/entertainers enjoyed their work. At the end, they showed pictures of the Recon guys on a big screen while playing "We gotta get out of this place" - the unofficial theme song of Vietnam. It was very moving and a special ending to a great show. We highly recommend this show; especially for those of us who lived through the 60's.

For those of you, like Daytimer & lindiet, who haven't seen the show for a while, I invite you back this year to see a New Show. We've reworked pretty much the entire presentation and, while there were songs we just had to keep, we've added a bunch of new ones.

What MonaD was referring to in the original post is: While we have always had a special video presentation in honor of our Vietnam Veterans, when we have military reunions attend the show, we work with those reunions and prepare special videos for them, featuring them during their tour of duty and include some "Then & Now" photos in honor of that groups service. It becomes a very special moment for those Veterans and we're proud to be able to provide that for them.

Stop by the Caravelle Theatre, 8:00pm. shows except on Friday and Sunday.

We saw #1 Hits Of The 60's for the first time this season and it was great. Very fast-paced show and brought back so many memories. It will be one to see each season.
