I was wondering who is the " House Band" now that The Cumberland Quartet have disbanded? How does the new group compare with the Cumberland Quartet?

There has not been a Gospel Music house band at SDC in several years. I can't reemmber one since the Cumberland Quartet left some years ago.

Rzrbkman, is correct; there hasn't been a house gospel group since the Cumberland Quartet left. I emailed SDC the following year and the answer was there was no plans to replace CQ. Instead, there would be occasionally be performers during the various festivals that performed gospel music. House groups Horsecreek, Sons of the Silver Dollar, and the Homestead Pickers usually sing 1 or 2 gospel numbers in their performances.

That's a shame! We used to come to SDC specifically to hear the Cumberland Quartet.....there are not many places where gospel music can be heard as you are walking through a themepark.

I wish they would bring it back!

I'll second that wish. Love to hear Gospel music. Just makes you feel good. Let's hope they get it back soon.
