Reivew of restaurants in Branson
During our trip to Branson last week, June 9-12 we ate at several restaurants.
Pizza World, Chesters, Grand Buffet, McFarlands, Silver Dollar City, Andys for ice cream. We were pleased overall at the prices and food. Pizza World was ok. The night we ate there, there was only one waitress and we had to wait to get pizza. My wife did not like the pizza, it was like eating at a CiCi's pizza, I would not eat there again. The Grand Buffet was great, everyone was really nice there and we got a coupon for a free ticket to the Amazing Pets show. The food was good and the place was kept clean, I would recommend this to anyone. McFarlands was ok also. This felt like a chain restaurant. The food tasted ok, but did not feel like "home cooking". My wife did not like it also, and the prices were a little high for what you got. Chesters was great, home cooking at its best and the prices were ok for what you got. The chicken salad was the best I have ever had. I really liked Chesters. Andys was great for ice cream and Silver Dollar City was great, the food was excellent and the prices were very good for a theme park. We really liked Silver Dollar City. |

Glad you were pleased at both the prices and food. Chester's is one of the favorites of many board members. Food just doesn't get much better than they serve----and it is served with a smile.
