That would be a big YES!!!
It's a fun place with great food. They have a good chicken fry if you
like chicken fries. The pass arounds are wonderful also.
Just be prepared to wait if they are busy. If the weather is nice there is places
to sit out side. If it's a long wait you can always walk over to the cheese place (located behind Lambert's).
No trip to Branson is complete without a stop at Lambert's for us.

If you love old fashioned cooking, my family would say "YES!!!".

We usually go to Branson 2 to 3 times a year and we drive to Lamberts at least once.

How long are you going to be in Branson? If you're there for just a weekend, I would say don't go because there are so many good places to eat in Branson. If you're there for a week, you might want to make the drive. I have had some great meals at Lambert's but the last time DH and I ate there, we were not pleased, and we each had different meals.

Dh and I drive to Lamberts frequently for a meal - I'd say YES - but I wouldn't go on a w/end - I'd go on a week night, or lunch time - The place seats?? 400 or so people, and even so, in the summer, on w/ends you may wait for an hour or two to be seated. Anyplace that is that busy, is doing something right. In the winter, you can walk right in on a week night - expect a wait in the summer, and go hungry!

I suggest Hog jowl, ham, fried chicken, fried chicken livers, prime rib, catfish, and their burgers! Their burger is as good as it gets North of Branson.

We make the drive EVERY time we are in Branson. (And will be doing it again in about 5 weeks!)

We make a 2 1/2 hour drive to the Sikeston Lamberts several times a year.
A 5 hour round trip just so I can get pelted with hot rolls and enjoy their fried potatoes. So, I think a 25 minute drive from Branson is well within reason to enjoy the #1 place to "Pig Out." (Voted #1 by The Travel Channel....by the way)

I have even bought a dozen of the rolls and take out with us. Of course, we ate half of them on our way home!

If you like country cooking and A LOT of food, I would strongly recommend making the drive. Just be prepared to catch some rolls (make sure to try some of their sorghum on them)!

Also, if you ever spend your birthday in Branson then definitely make the drive as they give you a free meal on your birthday.

They've changed their free meal deal - now they give you $10 off a meal - so some meals are free, but not all of them anymore.

I love sorghum/molassas - you can find it in most grocery stores, near the honey.

We try to stop at Lambert's on our way down as often as possible. The drive is definitely worth it if we're already in Branson. We were just there last weekend. Arrived at 7:30 and had an hour wait (it was a Friday night), but worth the wait! We even grabbed a geocache while waiting this time (was not a good idea - because of the mud). We always get the chicken fried steak and then take the leftovers back to the house for lunch the next day.

I prefer to stop on my way into Branson. We did it one time on our way home, and it really made me sleepy at the wheel. Too much good food, and sunshine, makes me sleepy after driving for a while. But thats just me.
