Unhappy Seating Was A Problem At Noah

We loved the NOAH musical, we attended the Sept 10th performance. We sat in the first row of the second section where we had a aisle in front of us. Hubby had plenty of room to stretch his legs. The problem was we were lower than the seats across the aisle, and the hostess that seated us claimed they have had complaints about this, she said it is worse when they have to put wheelchairs there (glad that did not happen as it would have been impossible to see what was being performed on the stage). Then there was a problem with the row immediately behind us, most of the folks had to be moved (to seats that were not occupied) their knees were behind our heads. Thank goodness it was not a sold-out performance for them. It look at though this was a problem on every other aisle.

You would think for the price of the ticket they would have paid closer attention to "comfortable seating"....JMO

I can agree on the seating. There is no leg room at all. I loved the show, but not the seating. We were on the 10th row in the upper section.

We just returned from Branson today. We saw Noah Wednesday nite 9/17.

We were in the upper level....section 202....2nd row center. These seats were AWESOME!! Plenty of leg room between us and the 1 row in front of us. Our knees came no where near the seats in front of us. Also this top tier has stadium seating which allows for plenty of viewing room. In other words...if someone a foot taller than you just happens to sit in front of you...it's still no problem. We loved the musical.

I have never been to this show but there are several other theaters in town that have the same problem....my knees are driven into the back of the seats in front. I have got muscle cramps at one theater because I had to turn my legs sideways to fit. I am 6 foot tall and I had problems in some theaters. They try to cram too many seats in. 1 extra row can mean lots of extra money but reduces the space between rows/seats.

There is no theater in town, that sells every seat, every night......so........

Most of the theaters could remove 10 rows of seats & create more "leg-room" for those seats that are occupied during performances.....

I agree totally!!! We were telling those in the row behind us the very same thing. When your sitting like this for hours, it is so uncomfortable....

We had no problem with knee room. We were sitting in the lower section, far right, first four seats on the left aisle.

We did not have knee problems on the floor with room. However, the upper section did look tighter.

Same here. I sat in the 10th row, center, lower level, and had no problem.

We saw the show in May and had a little problem with seating in the upper levels. I loved the seats and could see great. Seemed like plenty of room. But our problem was with other guests not wanting to get up and let us in to our seat. In order to not step on toes, we had to walk very carefully to our inside seat. There is no rail to keep you from falling over the top of the row in front of you. I felt very unsafe and as a result did not leave during intermission. My dh did leave and had the same problem getting out as going in. Guess we should have just stepped on toes!!

I agreee on the seating... for some reason I thought with such an awesome stage and surrounding props I would have expected more comfortable and spacious seating. I enjoy shows so much more if I have a little space. The friend I was with actually had to move to a seat in a side section because his knees kept touching the lady's head in front of us. Show was very enjoyable tho.

I agree with you on this! They need rails. I was concerned about my mom and I was the one that nearly fell over the row in front of me. I almost landed on top of the person in front of me. Lucky we had nice people sitting by us that didn't care to let people step over them, but I wasn't about to get up and leave, I was afraid of falling over the people in front of me. The next time I go I don't want up as far as I was. We were on the 10th row in the upper section.

Branson Dad and I just saw this show. Row MM is in the middle and the highest you could go before the sound booth which was above us. We could see everything from those two seats. It was awesome I must agree about the seating. I am a little over 5'0 foot and I didnt have a problem with leg room but the seats hurt my lower back. It made it hard for me to enjoy the show with my back hurting like it was. But the show and actors were very enjoyable. Oh and the review will be up either tomorrow or next day from Branson Dad but I just wanted to say my little part about the seats.
