We've seen the Duttons and the Haygoods for the last 2 years, and have reservations for this year's Christmas shows, too. Dixie Stampede is a great choice, too. They do a live nativity that we really enjoyed. Three more that we enjoy are SIX, Pierce Arrow and Grand Jubilee.

Andy Williams for sure

Dixie Stampede has great costuming, lots of holiday feel there

I loved Mannheim Steamroller, and hear they may be back this year

The shows at SDC are fabulous for the holidays

My wife and I visit Branson each November to see shows, visit Silver Dollar City and get in the Christmas spirit (there's no where else better than Branson for that!) We have seen many different Christmas shows and most were very good. I would recommend the Duttons, Presleys, and the Dixie Stampede for your family as the kids will enjoy these shows.

The one Christmas show that we have seen in Branson that really disappointed us was Andy Williams. I know many people on this board love Andy but we just simply didn't. (maybe we didnt enjoy it because we are in our early 30's and didnt see him on TV, I'm not sure). The show was more expensive that most other shows, did not have an intermission and lasted barely over an hour. I would NOT recommend this show for children.

Just my opinion........

When I'm going through a Scroogie, Grinchie November mood swing - wondering how I'm gonna pay credit card bills in January, taxes in April, and still manage to afford to send my son to his favorite Spring Break destination in March, the two things that will ALWAYS put me in the Christmas spirit are the Passion Play Nativity Scene in Eureka Springs and Andy Williams.

Not really a show, but what I've liked the 'bestest' in Branson at Christmas is the Silver Dollar City train ride. It's awesome. Train stops out in the forrest and "Grandpa" is sitting in a rocking chair out there and narrates the Christmas story. If that doesn't humble you and put you in the Christmas spirit, there's something wrong! So my suggestion is to go to SDC and ride the train!

One thing like better than the train at SDC is the Dicken's play, We have seen it at least 10 times, and I cannot wait to see it 2-3 more times in Nov. when we go. That and the train, and the lights, and the musical tree puts me in the spirit of Christmas like nothing else.

I have only seen the Haygoods at Christmas time. A friend went to Andy Williams show last year and was really excited to go, but was very disappointed after he saw it.

The billboard at the Grand Palace said that Manheim Steamroller was going to be there. I am wondering what other shows have nothing but christmas music, I want to see a show that is nothing but carols, not half the show.

We too love the train ride at Christmas...gives me the warm fuzzies just thinking about it!! Wait and ride the train after dark...for us it really adds to the experience!!

As far as Christmas shows, Andy Williams and the Brett Family are both great!!
