Joe Diffie Show Opening Night

All was great for Joe's opening night! But I'm a little partial. But I'll tell you this, if you want to be entertained, you should see this show. Paul Harris is great, Joe's band is awesome. I won't give a "review" since I work there, but I'd be interested in what others have to say about the show.

I just had some people come in to check out at my resort... they said they saw the show last night and LOVED Paul Harris, as usual... but, they said that Joe Diffie didn't even sing one song. That he just sat and talked. I thought that sounded very odd....is that true??? Surely not.

No that is not true at all. It sounds like those people didn't even attend the show. I bet they went to the late-night talk show that Joe and Paul were guests at the God and Country theater. It was last night at 11:00. Joe was late to that because of the autograph signing after his show. I hope those people didn't actually think they went to the Joe Diffie Show!

That's so funny!!

HA HA, definitely not at The Show at Yakovs!!! Joe sang all his big hits and some new great songs! The energy was high and the veteran tribute song, "Ships that Don't Come in", brought some big men, vets or not, to tears! (along with me!) They got a standing ovation at the end of the first half!!! (unheard in Branson, usually) AND, they got called back for an encore!!!! It was awesome!

Area Appreciation is Sept 13th and 14th

That's funny! And if I remember correctly, the late night, 'after-the-show'
show is FREE ---- what did those people expect for nothing? A full program ??

I watched Joe and Paul on Jimmy Ponders Branson WebTV show last night, they were great. Paul had me laughing so much with his jokes. I'm hoping to go see them next month.

We'll be in the front row the last Wednesday in September. Can't wait. Is Paul's show the same one he's been doing at Clay Cooper's?

I saw the show last night and I really liked it. Paul's comedy routine hasn't changed but I still laugh liked I've never heard it! I enjoyed the show and recognized all the songs but I was really bothered by the back up singers and how unprofessional they were. Maybe I am being a little picky but overall I loved the show and would definately tell ppl it is a "must see".

Have heard things seem to be going GREAT at Joe's show. I cannot wait to get to town so I can go and see it! I cannot believe they have had to do encore's at a show in Branson - I have never seen, or heard of that, in my 14 years of going to shows there!

I just got home from the show! It was GREAT! I truly enjoyed it - I will be sure to go and see it again as well as tell lots of people about it! The band was awesome!! Paul was great! The backup singers have really good voices - I just didn't think they were that impressive --- vocally good, pretty, but there was just something that didn't click with me. Maybe it is the fact that in Branson we aren't really used to back up singers????
