Please pray!

I am originally from Southwest Louisiana. We moved to Branson in 2005 when Hurricane Rita hit and took everything. Our lives were wrecked and turned upside down. I was 7 months pregnant and had a 10 year old that was emotionally devastated!! I ended up losing the baby that I was expecting (he was full term and stillborn). We were so blessed by the people and their loving kindness! Our lives have since been richly blessed in many ways including our new son born in November!!

I say this to ask you to please pray for all of my friends that are still located in southwest Louisiana. Hurricane Gustav is looking as though it will hit our area once again. I believe New Orleans will be spared, but will probably see much rain from the storm since it is so large. I am from the Lake Charles, La area. I have no family left there, but my husband does. They have gotten everything rebuilt and remodeled and have been living normally for a couple of years now. This hurricane is really getting at my heart as it is bringing back so many memories!! Please help me pray for anyone and everyone who has been and will be affected by this storm. They need and will continue to need all the prayers they can get!!

None of us can even begin to imagine the emotional turmoil that all of you, on the Gulf Coast, have gone through...and are still going through. Hopefully, none of these storms will hit the NOLA area. But, if they do, hopefully, we will have learned from our mistakes.

We are, and will continue to keep everyone in our prayers.
