Circle B Chuckwagon and Dixie Stampede
We had a great time at the Circle B Dinner show! Very intimate and interactive with the audience. Dinner was good. We bought our tickets through Branson 2 for 1. It was $38 for 2 adults. With dinner included that is a bargain! They have cowboy movies and popcorn before the dinner and show. Dinner is served and cleaned up before the show begins. No interruptions once the show begins. DS4 was brought up on stage and of course he loved that!
Dixie Stampede was mixed for us. I actually like the preshow better than the show. They had a juggler that was fantastic. Cannot remember his name though. You were able to see everything he did very well. He held everyone's attention. The food was good for the Stampede. Though you are being served and eating during the show. There were so many things that we missed because of that setup. Frustrating when the tickets cost so much. My DS4 loved it. I am sure that the animals had alot to do with that. There were 3 shows at the Dixie that day. There were major problems getting out of the parking lot. No one directing the traffic. People were trying to get in for the last show and were not able to get into the lot. One man actually got out of his car and started yelling out people that were stuck trying to get out. It was a mess. We were finally able to get around the mess and go out the back way. it would of been nice had they had someone directing people to the other exit. I would go back to the Circle B soon though the Dixie Stampede I would wait a few years or more. |

Would walking to the circle B , be hard for one who couldn't walk far??
I think dad would love it, He gets out of breath easy , because of his lungs, and branson being in the mountains makes it worse for him...

Fordy, I'm not sure where you're thinking of walking from, but, the Circle B is a theater that is just a block or 2 north of the 76 Strip. Ample, level parking right there at the theater, and the theater is all one level.

From the Grand Plaza Hotel it wouldn't be bad. From the Cascades Inn it wouldn't work. To give a good answer we would have to know where the walk to Circle B would start from. I can't think of a place that would make for a comfortable walk other than the Grand Plaza. Everything else would be too far or too many hills.

I think the "Chuckwagon" part probably is what makes people think it's outdoors. You're not the first person I've heard of who thought it was outdoors.

I really think it would be a fine place to take your dad; and that you wouldn't have to worry about him walking uphill. Like I said, the parking lot is in front of the theater and is fairly level. And then too, I'm sure you could always drop him off at the front door ---- no walking that way! No steps, either outdoors or inside the theater, from what I remember! We went in '07, not '08!

I was worried about my Parents as well. There are no steps. You are seated at long tables with padded chairs. All facing the stage. There are chairs opposite you but they did not use those at all. They would have their back to the stage.
My Mom loved the show. My Father did not care for it. One reason is he could not hear alot of it. He lost one of his hearing aids. The other reason is they have seen some really GREAT shows with more to offer. Like the Pierce Arrow and etc. This was all Western music. If you like that type of music then you should like this show. |

Circle B is one of our favorites. We live here and always take family and friends there as one of the entertainment selections. They have never given a bad performance and the food is always excellent and well served.

We went to Circle B last Fall, and our daughter who was then 14 loved it. That kind of surprised us. We are coming to Branson again the first week of October and that is one of the places she wants to go on this trip. We are considering the Dixie Stampede also, but it is kind of pricey.
