We are off to San Diego!!

We are off to San Diego . . . well almost anyway. We leave Sunday morning. Have to leave our house at 4:30 AM to head to the airport and will land in San Diego at 9:44 AM (love the time change going anyway).

We are going to the Zoo and Seaworld for two days each and then one day at the Wild Animal Park. If we don't have any flight delays or problems we are hoping to catch a Padres game on the day we arrive.

Any last minutes suggestions on what else we should do?

Finally!!!
Have a wonderful time....and when you see that black and white whale, please give him a kiss for me.

My Son and Wife in AZ went there for an anniverary (Seaworld)..and he kissed the whale for me...I have a picture of it somewhere here.

And wave at BillHilly...he is there somewhere

And hug some dolphins for me too...I met a pair of dolphins MANY MANY years ago at Africa USA in No CA.......and they were so so ''fweet''.
They had a friend named Margie...she was a camel..and she ate my sweater, and then gave me a big smootch..........(I think she was mentally challenged...lol).

Anyway...have a good time. I'm reliving my olden days through your trip....(old people do that)...they tell the same story over and over too.

Hi, if you have a chance go to Point Loma lighthouse. Most gorgeous view in the city!

Also, if you like Mexican food, go to Old Town.

I lived in San Diego from 1978 to 1991, so I know it's changed a lot since then. Another cool place to walk around is downtown (an outdoor shopping area), but I can't remember the name of it!

Was it Seaport Village? I have had a couple people tell me to go there so that is on our list.

My DH has never seen the ocean either so that is a must.

Sorry, won't be online. I could take my work laptop but really don't want to mess with it. I will post a full report when we get and back and will have plenty of pictures if anyone wants to see them.

It seems like it took forever to get here especially when we were originally booked to go the first week of June.
