Six?

We will be down the week of the 18th of August and I was SO disappointed that Six will be dark that whole week - as a matter of fact it seems a lot of shows are closed that week. Would have also loved the Beatles type show but that's closed too. Any suggestions?

There are a lot of shows taking a break that week, but the good news is there are still several shows open,

Kirby VanBurch
Acrobats of China
Clay Cooper
The Haygoods
Legends in Concert
Pierce Arrow
Magnificent 7 and
Rankin Brothers to name a few

I would highly recommend The Rankin Brothers! They have an excellent show and perform music from the 70's to the 90's and are not country. You can do a search here for other reviews on the show!

Why are so many closed that date? Do they take their summer vacation at the same time?

That is usually a pretty slow week in Branson. Kids going back to school and all of that. Presley's have been closing for 2 weeks at that time of year for quite some time, as well as Shoji and many others.

Okay...had not seen the show until last night, and will write a review later. But I agree that since SIX and Liverpool Legends are not open while you're here, you need to check out The Rankin Brothers!! Oh my stars, did I ever enjoy their show! All of the good things I've been hearing about it are indeed true!
