REVIEW: Kirby Van Burch Magic Show

Our family usually chooses one show to attend while in Branson. I know, some of you die-hard show people are shocked! Anyhoo, my kids chose the Kirby magic show. We thought the show was pretty great. Most of the illusions were amazing to my family. I have no idea how they can cut people in half! The show went on for a really long time and even my 2-year-old son sat throughout the entire show. I can't even get him to sit for 10 minutes in a cart at the grocery store! I think it was a little pricey compared to the family passes at other shows, but it is a really unique show. And we thought it was worth the money. Kirby was pretty funny too. THe only thing we didn't really care for was the push to buy things that we thought were way over-priced. My 8-year-old daughter was even in tears for a few minutes when we told her we wouldn't pay $10 for a magic coloring book. They really pushed for sales of their stuffed animals, magic kits, etc. We really enjoyed the show and will probably return in the next few years.

Thanks for the review! We saw Kirby back in one of his first years in Branson and also thought it was an enjoyable show. I'm sure it's been upgraded a lot since those early days as well.

My family (3 adults and 2 granddaughters) went to Branson in June and also went to see Kirby. We all really enjoyed the show alot! At the end of the show, if you bought the extra tix which we did, you could go in the back and look at the cats. We went thru fine until I was looking at the last white tiger, I think her name was Precious. All of a sudden she let a a very loud roar and jumped at the very thin plexy glass separating her and me.Needless to say I had never been that close to one before and didn't realize how tall they can be when up on hind legs.It is a good thing the woman just coming in and I have good hearts or they would have been carrying us out of there! As I was leaving the room I heard her roar again and turned around to see her rear up at someone else. I'll go back to see the show again but you can bet I won't go back to see the cats!!! Debbie
