Lost Pines is GREAT for getting away - they have a really classy spa on site that is heavenly.
If you have kids with you, might not be the -BEST- place (might want to try Barton Creek Resort if kid's stuff is important) but I highly recommend Lost Pines!

Barton Creek has a special kid's program - really engaging themed activities (Science Week, Magic Week, etc.) and they'll take your kids in for a good part of the day. They also have spa facilities onsite, but not sure how it compares with the spa at Lost Pines.
Bear in mind Lost Pines is a Hyatt-branded property, with all the luxury and "atmosphere" that name implies.
