shows at American Bandstand Theater

I was just looking at the ABT website...was going to look for show
dates for the Bobby Vee/Fabian/Brian Hyland show, and it's not listed on their website anymore. Anyone know if that is a permanent thing, or if they just aren't in Branson right now...

I hope that it's the latter, that was my favorite show at that theater..

Thanks Bluesman...I didn't think of looking there. I'm wondering why he has so many dates listed there, but has been taken off their website.

I am going to call the theater and check it out.

Unhappy AB Theater

I heard through the Branson rumor mill that the Bobby Vee group and the theater were involved in a contract dispute and they wouldn't be returning
this fall. Only a rumor at this point. I repeat, only a rumor. No changes for the Comets or Paul Revere and Bill Medley.

It is also our favorite show at that theater, see it every time we go to Branson, also see Bobby Vee up in our area as often as we can.
We had reservations for Nov. 16th, I just called the theater and was told that The Original Stars show would not be performing there any more this year and that Paul Revere would be filling that time slot. Can't imagine what theater management is thinking, first no Sting Ray Anthony and now no Bobby Vee and the Original Stars!

The Original Stars of Bandstand ends it run in Branson
We are very sorry to announce The Original Stars of Bandstand with Fabian, Brian Hyland, & The Chiffons and Bobby Vee and The Vees will not be returning to Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theater in Branson, MO. Please look for the show in other venues.

I saw the show in April 2008 -- one of my favorites.

Sorry to see GOOD music go

What Zach is holding back is that Bill Medley and Paul Revere will be at Andy Williams next year according to the rumor mill. Also, the Dick Clark name will come off the theatre next year. Fits in with all the real stars not performing there anymore.

I also heard this, and that Andy Williams will only be performing his Christmas shows next year.
I also heard that the DC theater is up for sale. Any thoughts on this?

DC Theater

The rumor is that Mr. Hatch has been drawing the profits from his theater
to fund his airport. Also heard that Larry Gatlin may be interested in buying the theater.

WOW, I hope Larry Gatlin does! I LOVE his show!

If Bill Medley and Paul Revere move to Andy's I wonder how that will affect The Entertainers; they have a wonderful show.
