Sand Stone Gardens in Joplin

Has anyone stopped there? Is it worth the time? My boss says they made a special trip back just to eat there? I have never seen any info much on it and was just wondering if it would be worth our time. Thanks

Our Church group went there about 4 years ago on the way to Branson!!! It is really beautiful........we didn't eat there so I don't know about the food..........I think it would be worth the stop, though!!!!!
I was thinking they had a web-site but I couldn't find it.........I did find this:
http://www.joplincvb.com/doandsee.cfm

Hope it helps!!!!!!

I have always wondered what kind of business that was? That is such a beautiful building!! Is it only a restaurant?

Here is a site I found with a lot of pictures of it. You can also go to their web site and read more on it.

My family and I were just there on Sunday. It is beautiful and has some unique things. It is not just garden items. It has some furniture, bedding, dinnerware, and much more.

I usually only like to eat there when I am doing a lunch with girlfriends. About the only main dish was lasagna. It is mostly soup, salad, sandwich. A very much of a bistro feel. I had the sandwich and soup. The chicken salad was good and the tortilla soup was great. They give you no option on the salad dressing, and my husband hates their balsamic vinagarette. I think the price was around $9.00 per plate. My son got the chicken salad sandwich and they put the salad on the side and give you 2 pieces of toasted bread and kind of assemble your own. He had so much chicken salad, we brought it home and had enough for 2 sandwiches.

Whenever I have out of town guests, I always say you have to go look around Sandstone, but I don't always say, you have to eat at Sandstone.
