What are your comments about the girl singers in the Pierce Arrow Theater?

I would like to hear your comments about the girl singers in the Pierce Arrow Show. I think their names are Kim and Vesta. In my opinoin Kim has a nice voice, but is such a cold fish. Vesta also has a nice voice, but has so much energy, that she wears me out just watching her.

Pierce Arrow

I don't know anything about Vesta, but when I sang with PA, Kim was a gem. Great singer and a good Christian woman.

Sorry, I got the name wrong--it's Desta!I

I'm really sorry--I got the name wrong--it's Desta (not Vesta). She is full of energy, and I'm sure appeals to the younger crowd.

I've seen PA several times now, and I think Desta is a terrible singer. I think that the show would be much better off either finding a new young female singer, or letting the guys sing more.

I was at the Pierce Arrow show last night, and it was wonderful! Both the girls did a great job imo. The singers are all very good, but that commedian is the BEST!!!! I laughed until I cried!!! Keep up the good work PA! I will be back to see the 3:00 show.

The many times I have been to PA I have not been impressed with Desta. Kim on the other hand I feel has a great voice and I always enjoy her part in the show. The problem I see with Kim is I get the feeling sometimes she would rather be home with her kids then on stage entertaining an audience. Which is not meant to be a put down but rather I think her heart is somewhere else other than the stage.

Concerning Desta my wife often comments that Kim conducts herself like a lady on the stage and Desta more like a school kid trying to draw attention from the boys. I think it is a generation gap with my wife

Kim Boyce's background is in Christian music, not really a Branson type show. She had some pretty good hits in Christian music in the early-mid 90's. And I can tell you that I've worked with her, and she's a really great worship leader. I haven't seen PA for a couple of years, so it may be that she's begun to feel a bit out of her element with PA, and is basically there because of Gary.

Well I've never seen them, or don't think I have.
But, I'm going to stick up for them, and say: none of you are qualified to critique a singer, except nannac.

I guess that is what this forum is for though, so I shouldn't feel bad someone has a bone to pick and poo poo's some nice talented women to satisfy a need deep within.

Of course I cannot presume to understand why a maggot started such a destructive thread.

I have to agree with you, Cheesey! When I read the title of this thread, my first thought was: "Oh no ----- here we go again!"

...so its ok to review a show and say what you like or dislike but not ok to talk about the talent that contributes to the show...I am in position to speak because I am one of the folks who pay money to help support the show I am watching. I can judge if I like the talent I see or not and why I like or don't like it. I have no bone to pick with PA in fact I have followed them for a very long time and love the show as I have made clear in other posts.

I agree! If a person has what they feel is a valid complaint about any performer in any show, leave it with the Ticket Office addressed to the person in question or owner of the show.

Branson Entertainers do read this forum and believe it or not,
they have feelings too!

I agree you have that right.
This thread imho, was different.
We get alot of these here, and they are not productive.

I will say that I feel like many times people get ticked at somebody and then start a thread to tear down the show. I can't say I have proof but I just get the feeling. I think that is very low class and you may be on to something with the starter of this thread
