I vacationed in Tulsa last week. We stayed at the Staybridge Suites by Woodland Hills Mall. Very nice suites and super clean...great location. We ate at Abuelos (Mexican) and it was fabulous...the Cheesecake Factory and it was great too. Saturday we went to the Oklahoma Aquarium and The River Walk in Jenks. The Aquarium was very neat...but the River Walk was kinda boring. I am use to the Branson Landing and the River Walk was a half the size of the Landing and the stores were boring. We did eat lunch at an italian place there and it was great..but I forgot the name. I love shopping at Woodland Hills Mall...Tulsa is an amazing town and I cant wait to go back....

If you're into zoos, the Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum in Mohawk Park is an excellent zoo.

If you like burgers, try Ron's Hamburgers and Chili. They have several locations throughout the Tulsa area and the burgers are great. Chili's pretty good, too!

Hi RC2...

When are ya going to be here, for how long and what do you like to do? Are you coming hear for a vacation?

Tulsa has so much to do. A great city. (also greater Tulsa has a lot to do) Lots of excellent museums, Gilcrease, Air & Space, Philbrook, Woolaroc (south of Bartlesville) and more.

Tulsa Zoo is excellent as mentioned and Discoveryland.

Woodland Hills Mall is just one of several large Malls in Tulsa. But it's the largest. Great stores, food court.

There are so many great restaurants, it would be hard to pick. Everything you can imagine. Great Mexican restaurants, great burger places, steaks, wonderful seafood. I think Tulsa has more restaurants per capita than most cities.

The 71st & Memorial corridor is jam packed with shopping, restaurants, things to do. If you have kids there's an Incredible Pizza in that area.

There's a nice, huge Water Park (Big Splash) at 21th and Yale.

There's great shopping in the Cherry Street district, smaller shops. A fantastic Saturday Market. Also the Brookside area is unique with great shops and restaurants.

There's always something going on at the Tulsa Fairgrounds. Also the 21st and Yale area.

Tulsa's downtown has some of the best architecture you'll see. Boston Avenue Methodist church is awesome...and people travel from all over to come see that and all of the downtown architecture.

There are also many Casinos if you're into those. The Cherokee Casino is wonderful. HUGE....It's located in Catoosa (just east of Tulsa) on I-44.

Hope some of that helps. If I know when you're coming and for how long, family? Kids? I can post somemore things.

Have a blast while here.

It's been years since we ventured downtown. Unless the streets have changed they're quite a challenge, full of one way streets.
I like Burlington Coat Factory on the corner across Memorial.
Incredible Pizza is a wonderful play place for the kids. Absolutely no comparison to CEC. It's located on 71st just a little ways down from the stoplight at 71st and Memorial.

How cool. If you're coming in for the PBR and ABBI, will you be staying downtown, close to the Convention Center? Or do you have rooms somewhere else?

Are you a PBR?? If you are...Have a rip roarin', butt bustin' blast!!

Sounds like a fun week-end. Tulsa host some great Bull Riding. And will be hosting more once the BOK opens. I think they're already booked in there for next year.
