Lisa Layne Leaving
It is with mixed emotions that we announce Lisa Layne is leaving Branson. We will miss her dearly but also wish her the best of luck in San Antonio. She is moving back to Texas and will be at the new San Antonio Rose Theater on the Riverwalk. We have closed the Rockin' Monster Show she produced and her Lisa Layne Country Show in the two o'clock slot will end at the end of July. Please join with us and wish her the best with her new location. We are in the process of calling reservations that extend beyond her closing date to notify them.

Got a call from the theatre telling us that this show has been cancelled. Really appreciated the phone call -- they offered the money back or another show at their theatre. We are now seeing Wade Landry show. Really sorry that Lisa will not be there. Saw her show last year and was looking forward to seeing it again.

Why is she leaving... Is the San Antonio Riverwalk a better place than Branson? (I don't know much about it) Is she gettin' a better deal there or something? I thought she was doing great in Branson? I've seen her perform and got the impression that she loved it here. My curiosity is peaked to the max.

Lisa Layne Leaving
Sounds like a great deal she has been offered, and in her home state. Branson is a tough market. These performers work their tails off with 2 or 3 shows a day, and teasers in between.

Apparently, you can take a singer out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the singer.
