Trip Review - June 25-29

This is my 15th year in a row to go to Branson, very few things that I look forward to all year long, but this is one of them, so without furthur adue, here is my show review

Paul Harris - My all time favorite Branson personality, he was on his game Thursday night at CC Theatre...His wife gets her clothes from clearance...Now thats funny! And wow, The Cleverly Trio...He was awesome, great show...

Liverpool Legends - Obviously a must for a Beatles fan, I can't imagine another Beatles Tribute band this good in the entire world, they have to be the best...I wish Letterman or Leno would pick them up for a night...The guys really work hard at what they do and seem like pretty good dudes...They rocked it out Friday night, brought the house down, you cant help but leave the show singing, which is unfornate for people walking close to me!

The Cleverly Trio at Charley's - Incredible late night Friday show, when Paul is in town, you have to find out if he is going to be there, that is a good time for a solid hour...I was impressed with Matt Gumm and Trent Wideman...both enormously talented and hilarious....Gumm can really sing, he was awesome - There were lots of Branson celebrities there, anybody have a guess why? I am assuming that is just how popular Paul is....Any word on Paul's long term plans?

Pierce Arrow - Great show, the Gospel songs werent as familiar to me as usual but the group sounded great... Jarrett was hilarious as always...It really is NOT a country show anymore...I am sure I will be called sexist for saying this...The girls of the show are incredible talents, but I could live with the group and Jarrett doing the whole show, they are just great ENTERTAINERS...Anyone who goes to Branson for the 1st time, or can only see 1 show...THIS IS THE ONE!!

So I was able to see my favorite individual, favorite band, and favorite show all in one trip....Cant wait to go back in 2009!!

Glad to hear the good review on the Liverpool Legends. We are going to see this show on the weekend, we are doing it mainly for my son, but very glad I am hearing good reviews on them.

Branson 11, we were at Paul Harris the same night you were. We saw Liverpool Legends on Sat. night. That is a great show.

Four of my favorites!
Paul at Charlie's! Wow! My motel is next door and I will be in town this month when he is here! In my reivew from June I said that The Cleverly Trio was the funniest thing I saw in the 37 shows I saw. The telephone skit is great too!
Paul's long term 2008-2009 plans are to be with Joe Diffie when his show opens.
