Country Tonite or Pierce Arrow?
disappointed that Joe Diffe won't be there till fall, disappointed that the Oak's aren't there yet, same with Larry Gatlin.... seen Mickey Gilley, Moe Bandy, Presley's so many times not really interested in seeing them again this year. i've looked at Pollstar almost every day hoping to see someone in town, but nothing so far.
I'm looking for a country show. considering these two, Country Tonite or Pierce Arrow.... if you had to choose just one between those 2 which one would you pick? going to try and work a show in after going to SDC so it's got to be an 8;00 show.... besides those two, i'm open to any other country show suggestions. |

There is a rumor that country tonight has closed. Is this true?

Country Tonight is Open
Country Tonight has NOT closed, and is still open & going strong. Either CT or Pierce Arrow are very good shows. If you haven't seen Clay Cooper's Country Express show, it's probably the best pure country music in Branson, plus great comedy. Clay is a real entertainer and I highly recommend it.

I 'ditto' the suggestion of Clay Cooper! He stands 'head and shoulders' ABOVE either of the 2 shows you mentioned, IMO! CT 'back in the days' was a really good show, but the last 2 times we've seen it were not nearly as good. In fact, we say we'll never go back! Wasn't that impressed with Pierce Arrow the last time either.

I'd go for Grand Jubilee. Cannot wait to see it again.
Pierce Arrow is always a good choice, too. Of the others mentioned, I've only seen Clay Cooper and it gets great reviews here, I just personally like the other two better. |

great... getting some good suggestions here, we were looking at those two because...
Country tonite was based on seeing the old Country Tonite and liking it several years ago. sounds like it's changed though. Pierce Arrow, someone else had seen it and couldn't believe we had never been there. question about this show... in the past I remember reading how the comdiean there liked to pick on members of the audience, is this still true? i'm not crazy about being picked on nor do I get a laugh out of someone else being made fun of. Clay Cooper, Branson Bro's, Grand Jubilee? all music or music and comedy? |

My family wants to see Pierce Arrow as we have never seen them. I highly recommend the Clay Cooper show. It is awesome, with lots of talent. Matt Gumm is a great comedian, he does skits I've never seen before. There is alot of dancing with Clay's wife.

I have to agree about Clay Cooper. That would be my first choice then Pierce Arrow (have not seen Country Tonight).

Pierce Arrow is a very good choice. We were in Branson about two weeks ago and we saw them. My husband and oldest son went back and saw their afternoon show and they really enjoyed it. If you see their night show you can come back and see their afternoon show half price.Good Deal!

Not sure of Pierce Arrow I have never seen this show, but I would suggest Baldknobbers, unless you feel they are too close to the Presley show...hope you can decide.
