Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.. |

i've lived here for fourteen years now and have tried catfish in a lot of differnt places... the ONLY place that I've ever found GOOD catfish was The Rails seafood buffet on Animal Safari Road...they do a great job with their catfish, thin crispy strips, delicious breading... I have been very disspointed with it everywhere else. (I'm verrry picky bout my catfish)...

Shorty Smalls has good catfish and you can also get a free onion load with the coupon from the coupon books.

I LOVE Dana's burgers....I recently tried the catfish and didn't care for it. It came in really big pieces, I like the smaller crispy strips of it. I think you get a better flavor that way. It would've been great, if not for the size of the pieces. Just my opinion...

I agree 110% about the rails.
![]() I know you didn't ask but... I would also rate their hushpuppies #3, just behind my Mom's and Catfish Hole in Fayetteville, AR. I would avoid Fallcreek. We did not care for their catfish at all. It just didn't seemed to be seasoned very well. |

I agree with branson nut -- The Rails does catfish right!! I've never had it at Danna's. But I have also had it at The Farmhouse. In fact, I take my parents there every time they are in town because my dad prefers the whole catfish over catfish fillets or nuggets. He knows good catfish, and he loves Farmhouse, especially on Friday for all-you-can-eat!

I definitely agree with everyone that the Rails is the best place in Branson for catfish. My husband and I send everyone there when they want good catfish. I don't think I've tried the fish at Farmhouse, but I will sometime.
