Branson trip 6/14 - 6/18

Got to Branson saturday about 3:30, just went to dinner (posted on dining), didn't go to a show on Sat. Sun morning went to church downtown Branson, then to the Mickey Gilley show Sun night, Monday went to the chamber of Commerce and got out stimulus tickets, drew Lost in the 50"s, didn't get a chance to use them so I hope they will still be good in November. Went to Holister to Dino's cake shop and got the cake ordered for our 50th anniv.in November. At 2:00 we went to Joey Riley and and 8:00 we went to SIX - all were very good, Tuesday my friend stayed at the motel and rested and I went to see Denny & Sheila Renee, they are too good to have the small crowds that they have, they have not always been in the same theatre for the last 8-10 years and that has probably not helped the crowds, enjoyed visiting with them, I went on a cruise with them in January. Tuesday night we went to the Duttons - good as always. Wed morning I packed the car and got ready to leave and my car wouldn't start!!! What a way to start my birthday out! Some nice fella's from the motel jump started my car and I took it to the ford dealer between Springfield and Branson, they had to put a new battery in it. The car was a 2007 and still under warranty so the upside of it was I didn't have to pay for it. It was a busy week and busy week-end so I didn't get this posted right away. Time in Branson was too short though.

Sounds like a fun and busy trip. Are your free tickets to 50's at the Hop? I don't think Lost in the 50's is in Branson anymore.

Thanks for the review, sounds like you had a good time other than the car battery. Isn't it nice that there are people who would help out, but Branson is full of nice people!
