Haygoods at the Americana???
A couple days ago I noticed that the scrolling reader panel in front of the Americana Theatre says "Coming in 2009...The Haygoods!" I thought they were leaving Branson to start a tv show or something after this year?? Anybody have any info...my curiosity has been piqued!

Yes, the Haygoods have purchased The Americana. Here is a link the a thread all about it. You will see there a post from Tim Haygood with their press release about the purchase and their plans for 2009.

David Sandy left towards the end of 2007. Tim Haygood is now doing what David did for them.

It is where Country Tonite used to be. Moe Bandy used to be where what is now the Clay Cooper Theatre across from WalMart.

Bob, Moe Bandy's first Branson theatre was the Americana....that is where the theatre got it's current name, from Moe's song "Americana." That is where he was performing when former President Bush came to town to see his show. Then the theatre was bought by Bill Dailey and became home to Jennifer in the Morning (where is she now??) for several years. The theatre was originally the Plummer Family Theatre until they retired and sold to Moe Bandy.
