Lake of the Ozarks/Osage Beach, MO

Is there a good hotel with an indoor pool that anyone has stayed in near the Osage Beach area? We're thinking of heading there for the weekend (only a 90 min drive instead of 4 hours to Branson).

The only place I've stayed there is Tan Tar a for a conference for my job. I wasn't impressed enough to want to spend my own money on it!

We stayed at the Tan Tara Resort a few years back and we loved it. The kids really loved the indoor water park!! But I didnt pay have to pay because I won the trip to Osage Beach.

We only live an hour away and haven't stayed overnight in a long long time. I did a google search and found several for you though.

We live about 45 minutes away from Lake of the Ozarks. There are many chain hotels right on the highway going through town. A few years ago we tried a little condo place called Big Bear. http://www.bigbearresortfun.com/.
They were kind of quirky, but the place was nice enough. There are a lot of different cabins and condos on the lake. One thing to keep in mind though, Lake of the Ozarks isn't like Table Rock. It is very commercialized and extremely busy on good weather days.

We are 20 minutes from Osage Beach. Are you looking for something in town or on the Lake?
