Actually, they are very well off. When first married, they worked hard, lived frugally, saved every penny they could, & invested very wisely--mostly in real estate, I think.

I would love to be a fly on the wall of their home and see if they are all as cool, and calm as they act on tv. They all seem to be very well mannered children. She never seems to get stressed.

I think there was 13 or 14 in my dad's family, I can't remember, one or two died as infants, 2 bedroom house, kitchen, living room, and bathroom, one out building the older kids took turns sleeping in, summer they slept outdoors.
when I was a kid and all of them would show up with their kids we'd have a huge family get together.... imagine what 18 at one time with families will be like in a few years. |

 So whos watching their new show? The oldest Duggar boy just got married in September, so Im sure they will be starting soon on their 20 kids!! I am enjoying the show so far!! Their family just amazes me. |
